Vacuum furnaces for carburizing

Carburizing in “low pressure” is performed optimally in vacuum furnaces.

It is a technology that allows you to achieve products with bright surface with no intergranular oxidation and low deformations thanks to the cooling with pressurised gas.

High levels of uniformity and reproducibility of treatment are obtained thanks to a careful management of the carburizing process parameters (achieved vacuum control, composition of the carburizing gas mixture, variation of pressure and temperature in the carburizing phases, temperature in the austenitizing phase and nitrogen pressure during hardening).

Main features of A-CBS furnaces:

• temperature up to 1250°C
• conventional pressure up to 1.5 absolute bars
• vacuum level 10-3 mbar
• Hot cylindrical graphite chamber
• Quench chamber up to 20 bars
• Possibility of combining up to 5 cells for each cooling chamber
• In-line configuration including: warehouses ,tempering furnaces ,low-pressure nitriding cells, washing machines, etc.
